
Our Quality and Food Safety program is SQF (Safe Quality Food), which is a HACCP-based program. Trinidad invests in our quality program through ongoing personnel training, continuous improvement in processes and equipment, and internal and external audits of our processes and practices.

GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) is the leading global standard to insure the delivery of food to the consumer that has been produced according to one of nine recognized GFSI standards. The SQF program is one of the nine recognized GFSI approved standards.

Our facilities are certified for the handling and packaging of organic products. The CCOF certifies our facilities according to the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).

The SQF program we follow has strict requirements for the use and control of food allergens to prevent cross-contamination. Careful attention to detail ensures we handle any allergens safely.

For kosher certification, Trinidad enters into private brand agreements with individual customers and the Orthodox Union, one of the oldest and most prestigious certifying bodies of kosher products.

Our non-GMO products are Non-GMO Project verified by North America’s only third-party verification and labeling for non-GMO food and products.
